Angela Perea became a resident of Johnson in 2013 and began serving on city council in 2018. Her time in both the U.S. ARMY and the Louisiana National Guard prepared her well for her leadership position in the community. 

Angela is currently the owner of Lake Fayetteville Boat & Bike Rental where she enjoys providing services to assist those in NWA to be active in nature. Her educational background includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Forensic Psychology, Emergency Medical Technician Certification, and completion of the Political Leadership Academy. Angela has a passion for underserved populations and enjoys working in public service.
