Washington County Judge Deakins issued an countywide burn ban effective August 11, 2026 at noon due to dry conditions and elevated wildfire risk. 

All open outdoor burning is prohibited until the bans are lifted, including yard debris, fields, ditches, campfires, trash, brush and other open fires.
