The city of Johnson invites community residents to the second Public Meeting for its Active Transportation Plan. The city is working to draft a plan that aims to improve walkability, connectivity, and increase safe routes in our city. We want your opinions and recommendations to be included in this plan.
Come join us for this public meeting where we will share the first draft of the plan and give us your suggestions on how to make it better.
A public meeting will be held on November 4th from 5:00 PM at Johnson City Hall.

The grass is growing thanks to an abundance of rain and sunshine!
As a reminder to our residents, Johnson Municipal Code requires property owner and/or renters cut grass and weeds on their property that are over 8” (eight inches) in length.
Code enforcement via the police department is in full swing.
Please mow your grass/weeds to avoid getting a citation to appear in Court.
The code states, in part: Title 5-Health and Sanitation Chapter 5.04.-Land clean up and maintenance C.1.
All property owners and those persons having a possessory interest in real property within the City of Johnson, such as renters, leasehold tenants, or lienholders, are hereby required to cut weeds, cut grass which is over eight (8) inches in height or length
